Its name immortelle comes from the fact that the yellow flowers, which resemble little golden suns, remain intact once dried. Italian helichrysum essential oil emits an intense perfume that smells of curry and ocean spray. It is incredibly effective and a hero ingredient in aromatherapy. According to botanists, it is one of the most evolved flowers in the plant kingdom.
